This stunning period correct early 911 ''E's'' ''Einspritzung'' or Injection are considered to be the most collectable of the early ''long nose'' 911's in todays collector market. This highly collectable 1972 Porsche 911E Targa also has the "oelklappe- external oil filler flap" which was only for 911's produced this year. Meticulously restored by master workshops and skilled craftsman from Skunkwerks, Rebel Restorations, MFI Werks, Supertec, Dash Dcotor, VGC Reproductions virtually every single part/item on this world class restoration has been rebuilt, restored, refurbished or replaced. This highly collectable 911E Targa is period correct in every way and with only 700klms travelled since her nut/bolt total restoration she is really like a new 911 from 1972. This gorgeous 911e Targa was delivered new in 1972 to her first owner in Germany, then was exported to her 2nd owner in Japan where she stayed in a Porsche collection till 2004 when she was imported by her 3rd owner to Australia. This cannot be repeated ever again for the value this stunning air cooled Targa represents in todays market on a global scale with the investment poured into this iconic open air 911.

The 911E was the middle of the 911 line up featuring mechanical fuel injection for more power and drivability then the 911T but less peaky then the 911S. This absolutely stunning FULLY restored 911E 2.4 also retains her original black horn trimmings and turn signal levers and her original tool roll/kit all intact. The original factory colour combination of "Light Yellow" with her Black Vinyl cabin is totally/completely original and period correct with perfect restoration completed on interior. Furthermore, new 2.4 E MAHLE pistons and cylinders, DC40 camshafts, a MFI gasket set, a Carrera chain tensioner kit, SSI heat exchangers and an Appbiz Original Ultimate engine sound pad were installed. The Targa roof panel was also restored by Dan Petchel at Cars Inc, while the dashboard was restored by Dashboard Doctor, who also restored the knee pads and ashtray roll. The cabin also features reproduction door pockets from Lakewell and a rear parcel shelf from VGC Reproduction. The car will be accompanied by a significant number of invoices for its recent restoration work at Skunkwerks, and the vendor will provide the car’s next owner with further details of its history. ALL body lines and gaps are perfect and finished to perfection and all the switch gear and interior trimmings are in perfect order and all functions and switchgear works as they should and from her restoration was fastidious and methodical ensuring originality was kept and her presentation shows this.
