2024 Hyper Racer X1 - BRAND NEW - 500hp/tonne - Ready to Race Open Wheeler - Australian Driver's Championship

We are pleased to offer you this great opportunity in securing the latest and greatest machine in the Australian racing market, the Hyper Racer X1. The X1 is an Australian designed and manufactured racing car currently in production at Hyper Racer HQ in Lilydale, Victoria. The X1 was conceived out of a desire to do Formula 3 lap times without the Formula 3 budget and what was created in the late 2010's has quickly become the fastest growing and most successful open wheeler slicks and wings racing category in Australia. Since taking over the "Australian Driver's Championship" title from S5000 in 2024, the Hyper Racer only series has produced some of the most statistically competitive racing in the championships 70 year history.

The Hyper Racer X1 features a steel tube frame chassis built to FIA specification for driver safety. Bolted directly behind the drivers back is a Suzuki Hayabusa motorbike engine developing 200 horsepower giving the 400kg racing car a power to weight ratio of 500hp/tonne. Bolted directly to the chassis are a number of independent carbon fiber body panels, wings and floor panels. These components help generate the huge amount of downforce required to enable the X1 to achieve track record status at multiple venues around Australia.

Running costs are the name of the game with the Hyper Racer X1. Having purchased the car, running costs for a six round season including entry fee's, travel, accomodation, fuel and tyres are around the $20-25k mark excluding damage. That's less than $25k for a full year of racing achieving lap times faster than a V8 Supercar!
