The magnificent and iconic "W427" was built in tribute to the 20th Anniversary for HSV and the "W" was tribute to racing legend and owner Tom Walkinshaw and the "427" represented the 427 ci or 7.0L LS7 V8 straight from the Corvette ZO6, but it is also a nod to the HRT 427C, which won the 2002 and 2003 Bathurst 24 Hour motor races. This was the first Australian performance car to run a "Dry Sump" lubrication system and was a ground breaking car for HSV and Australia. This very sought after build no #0099 has had only 2 owners from new the first owning for more then 12+ yrs and was part of massive Aussie/US muscle car collection.
