With ONLY 30,700 klms travelled since new and with all her original manuals, books, wallets and including the original sales order showing she was delivered March 1990 to a Mr Antonio Furnari in Messina Italy. From here after many years in his collection this stunning Delta HF Integrale was sold her next custodian in the UK and stayed there was the next 25+ years before being imported by her 4th owner to Australia. Fastidiously stored and maintained from new this perfect example is period correct in every way having recently won "Best in Show' at recent Sydney Italian Classic Car Concourse and to complete her authenticity and pedigree a "Certificato Di Origine" straight from Lancia Classiche confirming this concourse matching numbers winning Delta HF Integrale is the one to own. The Lancia Delta Integrale is a rally legend. From 1987 to 1992 the company, the car and its drivers virtually owned the World Rally Championship podium. 46 victories overall, 6 consecutive Constructors’ championship wins and drivers’ championship titles for Juha Kankkunen and Miki Biasion.
As with all Group A competition cars, homologation rules meant road-going versions needed to be produced and the result was this iconic sporting hatchback. Even 34 years on, the Delta Integrale can leave many modern cars, with sporting pretensions, a long way behind! The performance, the handling, the driving experience and the visual appeal are all there for sure, but this car is about much more than that. These cars have the automotive warmth and soul that is uniquely Italian. In September 1987 the HF 4WD was replaced by the more capable Delta HF integrale, which in turn evolved into the 16-valve Delta HF integrale 16v in March 1989.

The 16v integrale was developed for rallying, introduced at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show, and made a winning debut on the 1989 San Remo Rally. It featured a raised centre of the bonnet to accommodate the new 16-valve engine, as well as wider wheels and tyres and new identity badges front and rear. The torque split was changed to 47% front and 53% rear. The turbocharged two-litre Lancia 16v engine produced 147 kW/197hp/310nm at 5,500 rpm, for a maximum speed of 137 mph (220 km/h) and 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.7 seconds. Changes included larger injectors, a more responsive Garrett T3 turbocharger, a more efficient intercooler, and the ability to run on unleaded fuel without modification. In the summer of 1990 some small updates were made to all Delta HF models, with the integrale receiving new upholstery materials. Like on the HF turbo, the combination of light grey Alcantara and multicolour stripe cloth used since 1986 was replaced by dark grey Alcantara with diagonal stripe velour. If the Recaro optional seats were ordered, the buyer could choose either full dark grey or green embossed Alcantara upholstery as this beautiful example has been ordered with. This truly iconic Delta Integrale HF is sought after globally and will only rise in values for the best and most original examples to remain.
