We are extremely proud to present this exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire a comprehensively rebuilt and extensively upgraded 1971 Morris Mini Clubman Cooper S Recreation, purpose-built to deliver maximum enjoyment across the road, track, tarmac rally and club-event environment.

This is far more than a restored Mini. It is a ground-up recreation built without compromise, with considerable investment and an open-cheque approach applied throughout the build. Every major mechanical, suspension, drivetrain and interior component has been rebuilt, upgraded or carefully selected to create a genuinely capable and engaging Mini that is ready to be enjoyed, competed in and admired.

Finished in a stunning Heritage Grey with contrasting Scarlet Red striping, rondels and matching roof line, the colour combination continues beautifully into the cabin and across the roll cage. The classic Clubman shape has been enhanced with Group 2 wheel arches, period road-rally equipment, additional driving lights and original-style Minilite wheels finished in matching Scarlet Red, giving this Mini an unmistakable competition-inspired stance.

Underneath, the build is equally impressive. The original 1275cc A-Series has been extensively developed and bored to 1,380cc, incorporating twin SU carburettors with ram pipes and performance air filters, performance alloy inlet manifold, electronic ignition, high-output ignition coil, upgraded alternator and starter motor, Fletcher radiator, braided hoses, alloy thermostat housing and much more.

The fuel and drivetrain systems have also received extensive attention, including adjustable fuel-pressure regulation, fuel-pressure gauge, twin fuel filters and braided fuel lines throughout. Competition engine steady bars and heavy-duty engine mounts provide the additional control required for spirited driving and competition use.

Handling has been transformed with fully adjustable suspension, upgraded steering and performance components, while the interior has been purpose-built around its intended use. The cabin features Cobra Monaco racing seats, full roll cage, racing harnesses and competition gauges, creating an environment equally suited to a spirited weekend drive, tarmac rally or track day.

The engine bay has been finished with considerable attention to detail, including stainless and zinc-plated hardware throughout. It is the sort of build where the quality and depth of the work are best appreciated in person.
