We are very honoured to offer to you this huge opportunity in securing ''the best'' if not in the top 3 examples of this iconic 1967 Austin Healey 300MK3 BJB roadster in all her original stunning period correct glory, as she was delivery new 1967 in Texas USA. This absolute show queen finished in the factory colour combination of very rare ''Metallic Golden Sand'' with now Red Conolly Hide and was restored by world renowned Austin Healey restorer in the UK Murray Scott Nelson in Scarborough UK in late 2011 by the custodian to make her the best period correct example in the UK at the time restoration. Mr Nelson undertook this incredibly painstaking absolute nut bolt total transformation that truly will never be ever done today. Every part has been restored, refurbished and renewed and took over 2 years to complete including a pre-galvanising of the chassis prior to painting and was truly a ''no expense'' resto. She has a FULL matching numbers engine, gearbox, chassis with her glorious 3.0L 6 cylinder engine with her ''twin'' SU carburettors and full 316 stainless steel exhaust that allows that wonderful engine to sing and sounds so British 60's that just makes you smile. Her factory 4 speed manual and ''Leylock de Nourmanville overdrive units were completely replaced with all new items, components, mechanical's to FULL factory specifications and performs beautifully. The entire wiring system, loom and all electrical components gauges switches etc have been replaced with either new items or the old have been totally refurbished like new to complete and ensure totally originality. All her braking system, lines, fuel lines and other mechanical component's have been restored or replaced to totally originality with such attention to detail rarely seen again and with her power assisted brakes makes her so much more enjoyable on open roads with assisted drums on the rear as per factory specifications always at the forefront with this restoration. Her original factory chrome wire wheels have been totally restored to new condition and fitted with later model high performance tyres for better driveability and a full size spare is fitted to her also and included with storage.

The FULL restoration of the factory cabin which is finished in stunning sumptuous Red Conolly Hide with her matching red carpets, door cards and trimmings all period correct as originally black leather was how she was built in March 1967. The cabin was fitted with sound deeding thermal insulation before trimming's and carpets fitted to ensure the higher finishes done with this restoration. Removable mats in same color combination have been fitted to preserve the original resto work completed and preserve the cabin with ALL new or refurbished ''Smiths'' factory gauges so iconic from sports cars from the 60's-70's. The soft top also fully remade to factory specifications is made of the highest quality materials fitted over a totally new roof frame and new factory hood tonneau cover also with matched fitted cover for storage. The rear trunk is fitted to the highest factory standards same colors and material used and her original factory tool kits and jack are all intact where they are meant be from factory. She was personally imported back to Australia by her last custodian who is a very long standing British car collector of the highest calibre and wanted the best examples he could find anywhere in the world and secured this beautiful MK3 and lucky for the next custodian she is with us in Australia, but we have her advertised in the UK as well and the exchange rates make her favourable but hopefully she stays here.
