We are pleased to present to you this great opportunity one of the toughest classic US cruiser's on the market in this 1957 Chevrolet "BELAIR" Coupe in her classic deep Ruby Black Pearl coachwork with her period correct cabin in cloth/vinyl and switch gear with some modern additions with tasteful upgrades made for ease of ownership. This is one of the toughest looking sounding and performing Belair Coupes on the road and has had $$$ spent to create this fantastic reliable and ultimate summer cruiser with a list of performance, mechanical upgrades and modifications completed to make this '57 Belair.....Bad Ass. Originally a dry Texas car personally sourced and imported then fully restored of
a few years by her 1 and only owner here in Australia, now being offered for the first time since her creation. Over 650HP punching out of her Fuel Injected 454 Gen 5 V8 engine coupled with a 671 "Weiend" Supercharger Blower with steel cranks, roller cams, dimple rods, low comp JE pistons, "Wellwood" brakes all round, rack and pinion steering, sniper injections system, MSD ignition, Brodix aluminium heads, 4L80E electronic 4 speed T400 transmission rebuilt to take 1200hp and with a manageable 2200stall convertor coupled to a new 9inch LSD with 3.55 ratios so nice cruiser in every way. Her stance is just right not too low and not too high just right for full load cruising and no rubbing out with suspension including leaf springs sitting on genuine US "Centre Line" wheels 255/60/15 rear and front 215/60/15 so just right. The look of the Weiend Blower is insane and a total head turner and crowd pleaser when parked or just cruising, the sound well "she just sucks" bring a smile to your face every time. Her cabin has been restored to period correct no modern alterations to the seats and door cards but some modern upgrades have been done like electric windows and gauges dials due to the modern upgrades in horsepower and mechanicals which allow her to cruise along just perfectly with custom made headers and extractors full stainless steel sports exhaust makes her sound incredible without screaming or droning when cruising but has a dont "f?*k with me presence that's for sure. The view from drivers seat is menacing to say the leasat with that "Mad Max" style blower rocking and rolling everytime you hit the loud peddle and the hiss from the supercharger just keeps you grinning from ear to ear, that's what cruising is all about and this beast of a '57 Belair is just that just jump in and cruise nothing to do but enjoy and allow others to share in your good fortune of being the proud owner of the best looking of not one of the best US 50's iconic muscle cars of all time. There is really too much to mention with this Belair but you could never repeat the value this very tough and very well custom built 1957 Coupe offers here, overall this is a great value clean and honest American cruiser for the family/mates/self to enjoy and will appeal to many generations still to come.
